Well it's pretty common knowledge that Trisha Yearwood and Garth have had a thing for each other for a pretty long time. Listen to any of their duets (especially the one in which Trisha breaks down crying when they're singing "In Another's Eyes") and it's pretty obvious.
But since both Trisha and Garth were married, well that acted as sort of a barrier. But now that Trisha has given Maverick hubby Robert Reynolds his walking papers, the ball is in Garth's court. Let's see how he responds to this. Keep in mind that Trisha is gaining weight by the minute. I say Garth is going to act fast or not at all.
Trisha, meanwhile,denies these allegations(although she admits to carrying on with Chris Gaines).
They're also talking about Vince Gill. They're saying that it will be some time before he makes another appearance on TNN's Prime Time Country. Why? Here's the scoop:
Vince and his ex-wife Janis White (Sweethearts of the Rodeo) went their separate ways in 1997. Pretty clear that the difference in their career goals played a big part in this. Vince appeals to a lot of women, especially with his self-effacing, "aw-shucks" sort of attitude. And also his fat wallet. In particular, Christian singer Amy Grant seems to have taken a shine to Vince. Here's the problem: Amy is married to Gary Chapman, host of Prime Time Country. Or should I say WAS married to him. They just split up and now Amy is Mrs. Vince Gill. And they have a baby to prove it. But don't expect Gary to invite Vince back to the show for some time.

And then there's LeAnn Rimes. Nobody seems to
know where she's been these last six month but wherever she was, I would like to be there
too. Did you see that kid on TNN last week? An hourglass figure, hair like Kathleen Turner,
eyebrows like Margaux Hemingway. She's all grown up. Not a trace of that baby fat. All of
a sudden she's a fox. Look out Shania. Not only is this kid a looker, she can sing country
music. Not some some people we could mention.
