Patsy Cline Winters Lane Productions kicked off its 2005-2006 Season with a production of Always…Patsy Cline, written and originally directed by Ted Swindley. Based on a true story, Always tells the story of Patsy Cline’s friendship to Louise Seger. The play focuses on the fateful evening at Houston’s Esquire Ballroom when she hears of Cline’s death in a plane crash. Seger reminisces about the life of the singer, offering Cline fans a chance to look back on the highlights of her career. Journey with us through those memorable moments – from The Grand Ole Opry to The Arthur Godfrey Show in a stunning play that features Cline classics such as Always, Walkin' After Midnight, She’s Got You, Sweet Dreams, and Crazy. |
